RAD Guru

**Please be advised this position is located in WHITE SALMON, WA. approximately a 60 minute drive east of Portland/Vancouver, please be aware that this job would require commuting daily to the office, however company benefits do include a company vehicle and a gas card**

Radcomp Technologies builds strategic partnerships with companies to deliver top-notch IT support that will provide stability to take businesses into the future. Our dedicated team of IT professional's manages systems and troubleshoots issues to ensure our clients are able to work efficiently, all while minimizing business downtime. 

 
We are seeking a RAD Guru who will serve as one of our most experienced and advanced system administrators. This person must have extensive knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization, layer 3 networking and much more. This position is the highest escalation point and is often involved with engineering and project execution. RAD Gurus must be masters of multi-tasking and always willing to go the extra mile for our clients. 

 

As a RAD Guru you will be managing our clients’ networks. This is achieved by quickly resolving the most complicated, technical or most difficult incidents that our clients open tickets for. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO: 

  • Provide tech support in person, over the phone or via remote access for issues related to computer systems software, hardware, patching, etc.  

  • Be a top-level escalation point to solve or provide guidance on complex troubleshooting tasks 

  • Take a leadership role in projects and client IT initiatives by conceptualizing and executing best-practice driven solutions 

  • Provide root cause analysis and recommendations for solutions to ongoing issues 

  • Tailor communication style and troubleshooting delivery to match knowledge or skill level of end user 

  • Create documentation and provide feedback on existing documentation  

  • Track and enter time quickly and accurately  

  • Set up, configure and troubleshoot servers, computers, and networking equipment 

  • Serve as part of an on-call rotation for after-hours support 

  • Work in a flexible and collaborative manner 

  • Ensure confidentiality and security of all information
